You know that clan I told you about, the one i’m leading into battle. Well we had our first real match last night. We had a match before that, but it was a 4v4 orginized at the VERY last moment. as such, we only drew. But THIS time……..WE WON.
2 - 0, 2 - 0, thats all I have been saying all day. We won two - nil. It was so close at the end. I keep watching the replays over and over again.

Gamer Girl !!!

14 03 2008

Right now. Sitting next to me. Claudia, is killing. not actually killing mind you. that would be wrong. instead she is playing a little game called, Team Fortress 2. Yes thats right. That game that i am a clan leader for.

One day, she said. Casn i have a go on TF2. Reluctently i let her play on my profile. “don’t play on my servers in case anybody sees you” i said. But then 2 hours later when she had a kill:death ratio of 2:1 I let her play in my playground. Now… one week later. She has her own orange box and TF2 account. She has already over done my pyro kills and is on her way to being an amazing player. she has joined the clan and has already got some wow’s to her ability to play.

God I love this woman.

The best Purchase in history!

9 03 2008

This morning Clauida, my beloved wife to be, Woke up with a swolen ear. Yes the metal bar that had been stapled through her ear had swolen to giagantic proportion. As such we tavelled to the place she had it it done. Right now you are thinking that, “What the hell does this have to do with The best Purchase in history” well sit down, grab a drink and prepare yourself.

Ok i’ve built this up to much now…..

So basically we had to burn up 20 mins for the shop to open……and thus we wandered into Gamestation. As we walked in there was a small brown box being placed upon the counter. written on the bax was “Retro - 50p each or 5 for £2″. Well it’s going to be crap, but lets have a look, I thought to myself in a slightly melancholy way. I then Grabbed out of the box the following 5 items.

Super Star Wars (SNES) Yes You heard me right. For those of you who don’t know. this is the best platform game ever. Hard as hell and star wars through and through. Right round the corner from where i baought this pile of gold it was bing sold at £15…granted that is with the box and none of these are. But i don’t think a peice of cardboard cost £14.50

Street Fighter II (SNES) Again a great game and one that everybody knows. and again, round the corner £9 (without the box)

Exploder Cheat Pack (PS2) Ok its a big metal case with a cheats disc in it. the only reason i’d want this is because claudia plays Final Fantasy XII and with out cheats it is frustratingly unbalenced. RRP £10.95

Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (N64) Granted this is on the N64 so its a BIT more recent still a great game and a hrad one to get hold of.

Kirby Dream course (SNES) Yes thats right a kirby game for 50P and its the crazy golf game. so much fun to play and its friendly for the little kiddy fokes. on EBay its selling for £3…thats ebay the seller of cheap products.

So what do we have

NAME      Cost      RRP        SAVING
SSW        50p       £14.50   £14
SF2        50p       £9          £8.50
PS2C      50p       £10.95   £10.45
SWN64   50p       ?????
KSNES    50p       £3          £2.50

Total savings…..£35.45 +

The best Transaction ever made.

Broken Emblem Comic re-release

6 02 2008

Well when my Hardrive failed half way through UNI, I lost a lot of old work of mine….one thing I lost was a lot of the work I had done with indesign. So I decided to publish my comic book again only using indesign instead of Photoshop like I did before. That way I have at least something to show for my indesign skills.

It also means that I have slightly polished the text and layout for the comic.

Even though there will never be issue 2, 3 or 4…..here is issue 1 of Broken Emblem.

Broken Emblem Comic: Issue 1 Requires Acrobat or other PDF reader.

VGN site update

27 01 2008

Although he has not uploaded it yet. The other night I created a new site layout and design for the VGN website. A simplistic site with a very metalic feel to it. nothing more to say than that.

Picture

All created in Photoshop using the CSS that dan is using for the current site….with a few changes.
